A note about COVID-19

On March 14, 2020, MIND decided to provide free access to ST Math—not only for schools, but also for families who were suddenly homeschooling their children for an unforeseeable period of time.

In roughly 72 hours and without any marketing, we received over 7,000 new requests for ST Math Homeschool. We are currently still offering ST Math free for families until June 30, 2021, and have provided access to 32,914 households in the last 4 months.

For schools, access to ST Math remained free through June 30, 2022. In that 3.5 month period, MIND provided access to 5,725 additional schools and more than 1.8M new students. For context, prior to the pandemic, we were serving 1.2M students—onboarding roughly 700 new schools per year.

For many organizations, scaling at this speed, while at the same time eliminating our source of earned revenue (which accounts for approximately 70% of our total budget), would have been impossible.

But thanks to our Board of Directors and philanthropic partners, we were able to stay afloat while we also increased capacity to support our students, educators, and families.

If you are able at this time, please consider donating to help us reach as many students, parents, and educators as possible - as a non-profit organization we truly appreciate your support.

Contributions of any size are welcome and all donations go directly towards programming.

MIND Education is a nonprofit organization. In order to continue to disrupt the status quo in education and advance opportunities for all students, we are continuously seeking partners to invest in and shape our current initiatives, as well as our R&D (research and development) efforts. We welcome donations of any size, as well as the opportunity to discuss potential partnership opportunities.
